Turkey Thursdays…
NFL November 26th. 2008, 7:42pmSo I’ve missed a couple of Thursday games, but no way was I going to miss Thanksgiving Thursday games! Now Thursday’s games are pretty predictable considering who’s playing, here’s what’s on the menu:

Titans and Lions
What a way to start Thursday off. The Titans are coming off their first loss of the season but it’s probably better they get it out of the way before it really means anything. Winning all the time gets kind of boring. At least they have a bounce back game against Detroit. At least these guys will be able to have Thanksgiving dinner.
Titans 34, Lions 20

Cowboys and Seahawks
The Cowboys have won two in a row and the Seahawks lost last week to another NFC East team. Hasselbeck looked real ugly tossing pick after pick against a Redskins team that hasn’t really been that threatening in the secondary. The Seahawks will be devastated bt the Cowboys, especially through the air. Hasselbeck will probably spend most of the game on his ass considering the Seahawks haven’t been really able to establish any sort of game plan this season. T.O. had 213 yards last week and 1 TD. Marion was held out of the endzone, but he’ll get a couple this week. Hell, if Martelus Bennett is scoring TD’s, everyone will be scoring. On a side note, a good friend of mine tried to justify that Matt Cassel was better than Tony Romo. Tony Romo is playing with 9 fingers and is still better than Cassel any sunday of the year.
Cowboys 45, Seahawks 24.

Cardinals and Eagles
First McNabb doesnt know there are ties in the NFL, and then he gets benched. Next? He’s gonna be shipped off to Detriot for next season. The Eagles will have their backs against the wall when they play Arizona in the 3rd match on Thursday. The Cards are coming off a loss to the Giants that showed they can’t really play D, but can still put up decent numbers. Tim Hightower reached the endzone, but on the ground didn’t do to much in terms of yardage. If the Eagles can solve that, they might be able to keep the game at a respectable score. McNabb is not only playing for his job but respect now as well. He’ll be on it. I have a funny feeling about these two birds, but I’m gonna take the Eagles for my Thanksgiving Day upset.
Cardinals 24, Eagles 27
Well that’s it. I’m hoping to only work a half day tomorrow to catch some of these games. Enjoy them and remember, on any given sunday, anything can happen.
